The Exchange Quarter, on a nice summers day looks a little like Paris with its pavement tables and chairs. Well worth a vist on a summers day, and is also a thriving night time venue, although in the centre of Leeds it is a little off the beaten track. Situated to the rear of the Corn Exchange. Make sure you give it a visit.
Fudge bar and nightclub in the foreground, showing 2 of the three railway arches that have been transformed for this bustling modern bar.
Pitcher and Piano bar in the back ground
The last railway arch leads towards Centenary foot bridge over the river Aire.
River Aire riverside walk
Looking through the railway arch to the seated and standing customers enjoying a drink and the sunshine outside the Pitcher and Piano.
At the far end of the building, customers at the Cafe Rouge can be seen.
In between these two venues is the Po Na Na nightclub, all housed in the Assembly Rooms
Another view of the Assembly Rooms from the top end of Assembly Street.
As late afternoon approaches the shadow of the setting sun creeps over the crowd outside The Cafe Rouge.
Lower down the street is the Po Na Na nightclub and the Pitcher and Piano bar.
Tables and chairs outside the Town House can be seen in the bottom left of the picture.
